Teaching guitar lessons is one of my favorite things to do. I love using my knowledge to inspire new minds with music. I have a well-rounded musical background, with experience in performance, songwriting, production, and music business.
All lessons are 1-on-1, individualized, and personalized to each student’s needs. This way, I can tailor the curriculum to focus more on what you really want to learn. I specialize in beginners.
Lessons are currently available in person at my studio in Overland Park, Kansas. The student must be age 10 or older, due to the dexterity needed to play.
Why take lessons?
YouTube and online tutorials offer a great way to learn… sometimes. Teachers often have no credibility, pacing may be too fast or too slow, and the content is frequently just inaccurate. 1-on-1 lessons are by far the best way to learn an instrument, as they allow lots of flexibility in the pacing and content. You can be sure that you are being taught by an industry professional.
Cost
$25 per 30-minute lesson.
Lessons are every week unless otherwise agreed upon, and are billed monthly.
Referral program
For current students, when you refer a friend and they sign up, you both get a free lesson! This free session is applied after the first month of lessons are completed by both students.
What you need
All you need to bring is your guitar. However, additional accessories such as a case and picks are strongly recommended.
